According to the National Meteorological Office (Onamet) the recent heavy rains will continue today, Tuesday 1 and tomorrow Wednesday 2 October due to high levels of humidity and the instability of the air across the country.
They say that conditions are dominated by a weather front and a tropical wave located over the west of the country which is moving slowly at around 10 kilometers an hour and is expected to bring storms to the southwest, the border area, northwest, southeast, northeast and the central mountain range. Temperatures are expected to be somewhat cooler over the next 48 hours with the wind from the east/northeast.
