In response to the overwhelming positive critical reviews and audience reception, musical producer Amaury Sanchez will be presenting the Philharmonic Orchestra of Santo Domingo playing rock music classics at 8:30pm on Saturday, 12 October at the National Theater’s Carlos Piantini main hall. Forty classical musicians will play the music of around 20 songs by rock groups like Pink Floyd, The Beatles, Queen, Police, U2 and Led Zeppelin. The singers that evening will include Tony Almont (Toque Profundo), Maximo Martinez (New Page and Tabutek), Hector Anibal (Transfusion) and Eddy Alba. Av. Maximo Gomez and Independencia. Tickets are for sale at the National Theater for RD$1,000 and RD$1,200.
