As part of its 10th Anniversary Celebrations, the Centro Leon in Santiago is inviting the public to a Sunday, 6 October Dominican Party. Jochy Sanchez, Rafaelito Roman, Maridalia Hernandez and La Cuaba will be performing. The Centro Leon grew from the prestigious E. Leon Jimenes art contest that had amassed a prime collection of the best of Dominican art. The center is known for its retrospective exhibitions that present the track record of leading Dominican artists, its cultural outreach programs and its extensive research and documentation centers that are open to the general public.
