Award-winning pianist Michel Camilo will play in two benefit concerts, “What’s Up?” to mark the 50th year since Mary Perez de Marranzini founded the Dominican Rehabilitation Association (ADR). The first performance will take place this evening, Tuesday, 8 October in the Gran Teatro del Cibao in Santiago followed by a second concert on Thursday, 10 October at the Carlos Piantini Hall of the Teatro Nacional in Santo Domingo, both at 8:30pm. “What’s Up?” is regarded as one of the pianist’s best ever concerts in the past 10 years. The ADR has 27 branches throughout the country providing low-cost and free services to people with special needs.
