Jeff Altenburg, member of the Sarraff Racing Team, won the DTS category of the National Speedracing Championship on Sunday, 13 October. Juan Carlos Leroux and his brother Jorge came second and third. Other winners of the important championship race were Jose Ricardo Leroux, Juan Carlos Leroux and Jeff Altenburg in the second race. In the Racing Sedan (RS) category, the winners were Alain Giraldi and Pedro Redondo. Christian Bonnet was first in the Street Touring (ST) category followed by Carlos Medina. Carlos Pena and Sebastian Paniagua were first and second in the National Tourism category (TN).
