The Tax Department says that as of September of this year it has received RD$17 billion or 9% more revenue than last year. Tax revenue now stands at RD$206.1 billion for the first nine months of the year. The DGII says that the department target has been met by 96.2%. The DGII had forecast it would receive RD$214.29 billion by this time of the year.
