Former President Leonel Fernandez was in Paris yesterday, Monday 28 October to receive an award from the Universite Paris 8, an autonomous public higher learning institution. The university recognized the former President for his solidarity with Haiti after the 2010 earthquake.
The university has 20,523 registered students in its Political Sciences, Cinema Arts, Communication Studies and Feminist Studies departments.
