President Danilo Medina and his wife, First Lady Candida Montilla visited the Blandino Funeral home on Sunday 3 November to give their condolences to Dede Mirabal following the death of her son, businessman Jaime Rafael Fernandez Mirabal (Jimmy), the brother of former Vice President Jaime David Fernandez Mirabal.
President Medina had already sent a letter to Dede Mirabal offering condolences in the name of the government.
The President and the First Lady were accompanied by the Administrative Minister to the Presidency, Jose Ramon Peralta and by his personal assistant Carlos Pared Perez and the head of Military Aides, Major General Adan Caceres.
