The National Botanical Garden in Santo Domingo has announced the celebration of its National Festival of Plants and Flowers for Friday, 15 November through Sunday, 17 November. This is the perfect occasion to visit the 2km2 garden with its displays of most of the Dominican Republic’s flora. There will be sales of endemic, native and exotic plants. This is a good opportunity to purchase lovely orchids, bromeliads and other lovely plants.
