Community activist group the Popular Front (Falpo) has announced a strike today, Tuesday 12 November in Nagua in Maria Trinidad Sanchez province, demanding several public works such as a hospital, road building and an improvement in the electricity service.
Falpo national spokesman Gabriel Sanchez says it will be a day of protests with shops closed and no transport.
