The world premiere of Still@life, a ballet prepared for the BalletX of Philadelphia will open at the Palacio de Bellas Artes auditorium in Santo Domingo at 8:30pm this evening, Friday 15 through Sunday 17 November. The dance is part of the Fall Dance that will be performed with the sponsorship of the National Ballet, the Ministry of Culture, the Dominican Dance Board and the Palacio de Bellas Artes, as reported in Diario Libre. Marianella Sallent, director of the National Ballet, said that Still@life has music by Bach and is a fresh choreographic work, with humor and allegories with still life paintings.
