The Colonial City of Santo Domingo comes alive with the Colonial Fest (CFEST2013) entertainment programs planned for this coming weekend, Friday 22, Saturday 23, and Sunday 24 November.
There will be DJs, fashion shows, live music, art, cultural displays and much more. “This version of the Colonial Festival of Santo Domingo has a cultural program with art and music, and more than 50 live performances, carnival displays, theater, craft fairs, longer opening hours at the museums, restaurants with special deals in variety and price, bars with special deals, gastronomic festival, Dominican sweets festival, along with other events during the three days and nights,” said general coordinator Lisandro Macarrulla. It is estimated that more than 150,000 people attended last year’s events.
