The PLD has announced a plenary assembly of the VIII Congress of the PLD at the Volleyball Pavilion this Sunday, 24 November. An estimated 2,718 delegates have been convened. The members will review proposals for changes in the way the party is being managed to prepare for the party vote in the VIII Congress set for 26 January 2014. Some 17 proposals will be reviewed, announced Cesar Pina Toribio, legal advisor to the President and coordinator of the Organizing Committee of the 8th Congress of the PLD.
