The Ministry of Public Health has announced the completion of the pediatrics emergency area at the San Lorenzo de Los Mina Maternity Hospital in Santo Domingo East. The Medina administration is reported to have spent RD$38 millions on the improvements. Minister of Public Health Freddy Hidalgo said that the remodeled unit is now up to date with modern medicine. He said that the center serves thousands of Dominicans and foreigners who go to give birth there.
