An adaptation of the classic novel by Charles Dickens, A Christmas Carol will be staged at the National Theater on Saturday 7 and Sunday 8 December. It is part of a world tour that is also opening in London, New York, Chicago, Washington, Cleveland, Denver and Madrid. In the Dominican Republic it is being staged by Theamus, Teatro Musical and is sponsored by the Farmacia Carol drug store chain. Leading roles are played by Omar Ramirez (Ebenezer Scrooge) and Enrique Chao (Jacob Marley).
