Bankruptcy law a priority for small business sector

The executive director of the National Competitiveness Council, Andres Vanderhorst Alvarez is lobbying the Chamber of Deputies to pass the national bankruptcy law. He said the bill has been passed in the Senate six or seven times, but then stagnates in the Chamber of Deputies. He said it is essential for small and medium-sized companies. Vanderhorst said that asking a company not to have financial problems is the same as asking a person not to get sick, as reported in El Caribe.
