MegaTV, the television network owned by Spanish Broadcasting System, Inc. was awarded an Emmy by the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences, through its Suncoast chapter, for its special program the “Big Band Nunez” based on the music and career of Dominican singer/songwriter Pavel Nunez. The award was announced during the awards ceremony that took place on Saturday, 23 November.
The Suncoast Chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences is made up of Spanish and English language stations, professionals and students of television from all over Florida, as well as Louisiana; Mobile, Alabama; Thomasville, Georgia; and Puerto Rico.
