Grammy-winning Spanish pop singer, David Bisball is booked for a 21 December show at the Paradisus Palma Real resort in Punta Cana. He will also be taking part in the Weekend of Solidarity event sponsored by Melia Hotels and UNICEF. The benefit is to raise funds for children in the Dominican Republic and for programs to prevent sexual exploitation, violence, and to promote timely birth registration and improving the capacity of the National Child Protection System. The Melia corporation recently renewed its alliance with Unicef to work on programs for protecting children worldwide for another three years. “We celebrate the renewal of our alliance and invite others to continue working together for children,” said Sayo Aoki, Unicef’s assistant representative in the country.
