Dominicans to work in agriculture in Canada

Yesterday, Monday 2 December, the Administrative Minister of the Presidency Jose Ramon Peralta received a Canadian business delegation that has come with a job offer for Dominicans in Canada.

According to a Presidency press release, the delegation was headed by the Business Adviser to the Executive Branch, Gerard Trudeau, and the Operations Director of the Farming Business Federation, Fernando Borja.

The meeting at the Presidential Palace was also attended by Labor Minister, Maritza Hernandez, with whom the business representatives have signed an agreement that allows Dominicans to work in the Canadian agricultural sector.
