“In Joy” is on display at the Galeria Ramos Mederos at Calle Arzobispo Nouel No. 5 corner Hostos, Colonial City, Santo Domingo. 12 December 2013. Born in Santo Domingo in 1984, Hulda studied with Melanie Reims at the Altos de Chavon School of Design, graduated in fine arts and illustration from Altos de Chavon, Parsons School of Design in New York, and the National School of Fine Arts in Mexico in mural painting and photography. She won the Painting Award in the 2009 Biennial of National Visual Arts at the Museum of Modern Art and was a finalist in the 23rd Eduardo Leon Jimenes Art Contest in Santiago in 2010.
