The 6th David Ortiz Golf Classic is taking place from Thursday 12 to Sunday 15 December 2013 at the Punta Espada Golf Course in Cap Cana. The Sanctuary Cap Cana is the host hotel. The MVP of the 2013 MLB World Series welcomes his friends and guests to his home country for a fund-raiser for the David Ortiz Children’s Fund. The weekend includes two rounds of golf at the Signature Jack Nicklaus golf course, a celebrity pairings party, awards gala and more. Prior to the tournament, the event had already raised over US$2 million to support pediatric critical care in New England and the Dominican Republic through the fund’s partners, World Pediatric Project, MassGeneral Hospital for Children and Heart Care Dominicana.
