President Medina travels to Panama for SICA

President Danilo Medina is scheduled to travel to Panama at 1pm today, Friday 13 December to attend the 42nd Summit of Heads of State and Government of the Central American Integration System (SICA). He will fly from the San Isidro Air Base in a private jet and is scheduled to return during the early evening on Saturday, 14 December. His entourage includes Ministers of the Presidency Gustavo Montalvo, Administrative Minister Jose Ramon Peralta and Hacienda Minister Simon Lizardo.

SICA is scheduled to meet in Cocle on Friday 13 and Saturday 14 December and the agenda includes the creation of a Ministry of Democratic Security with its consulting bodies. The heads of government will review economic, farming and health subjects and progress made in the European Partnership with Central America.
