The Ministry of Tourism is sponsoring Miami HEAT basketball games this season. The Miami HEAT is the 2013 NBA Championship team.
“The Dominican Republic is a popular vacation spot for Florida residents, especially with most destinations being just a two-hour flight from Miami,” said Magaly Toribio, marketing advisor for the Dominican Republic Ministry of Tourism.
“The Dominican Republic is like a home away from home for many of us who live in South Florida,” said Eric Woolworth, president of The HEAT Group’s Business Operations. “Renewing our partnership offers us yet another chance to show Heat fans everywhere that the DR really does have it all: pristine beaches, a warm climate and festive culture.”
