Veteran pop superstar Elton John has chosen La Romana for his only 2014 Latin American concert appearance. It is the only concert outside of the United States, Canada or Europe listed on his site for 2014. The legendary British pop star will perform at Altos de Chavon’s amphitheater in La Romana on 28 February.
General admission is US$140, and VIP tickets are US$497. The show is set for 8pm. The performance coincides with Independence Day celebrations in the Dominican Republic. In the Dominican Republic, ticket buyers paying with American Express have a 15% discount through 29 December.
