Ruben Montas, general manager of EdeSur power distribution agency, has announced that RD$5.5 million will be spent on lighting up the Ave. Mirador del Sur as part of the Comprehensive National Security Plan.
The park is eight kilometers long and fronts the Ave. Anacaona luxury high rise apartment buildings. The government has also announced plans to extend the pedestrian hours for the Avenida de la Salud on the south side of the park.
