The National Police has arrested three women and one man accused of the murder of a 44-year old German national, Dirc Weber, and of having hidden the body under a bed in an apartment in Playa Laguna, Sosua.
Pedro Luis Tejada, Nichole Cristina John and Yasmen Bleistos were arrested in a hotel in Puerto Plata. Another woman, Estefany de la Cruz Henriquez, was also detained for questioning.
The Police accused them of killing Weber after he went to collect the rent for an apartment he owned in Playa Laguna. The Police say the accused fled in Weber’s car and subsequently set fire to it.
