Minister of Agriculture Luis Ramon Rodriguez says that the Medina government is making funds and support available for the installation of greenhouse parks. He predicted that the country would have 13 billion square meters producing vegetables in protected environments in the near future. He said that the project for farm reconversion in San Juan de la Maguana province in the southwest alone would involve the construction of a million square meters of greenhouses for vegetable production.
