Kathleen Martinez, the Dominican lawyer-turned-archaeologist who heads a team of researchers looking for Cleopatra’s tomb in Egypt, met with President Danilo Medina at the Presidential Palace in Santo Domingo yesterday, Monday 10 February. She told him the seventh expedition to the chosen sites near Alexandria was starting this Sunday and that she is confident that she will find the tomb.
