The National Investigations Department (DNI) has arrested a Peruvian citizen, Christopher Lewis Sopla Martinez, at Punta Cana International Airport with ten packets of cocaine weighing around 14.5 kilograms.
DNI director Major General Maximo William Munoz Delgado said that Sopla Martinez had been recruited by a drug trafficking network operating in South American countries and said they were continuing their investigations.
