The Emily Watson School of Dance of Sosua is organizing a Dance Marathon in the El Mirador Park in Sosua, Puerto Plata. In its second year, the event will take place on Saturday afternoon, 12 April.
The marathon will start at 3:30pm. Organizers say the RD$200 dance participation fee is the same for old and young.
“It’s a Dance + Exercise = Dancercise Marathon, 120 minutes non-stop moving,” say the organizers. Professional dance teachers will take the lead and other participants are recommended to just follow their moves to participate in the contest, Dancercise Champion 2014.
