Travelers who prefer Newark International Airport (EWR) to the northeast of the US can now fly JetBlue. The leading air carrier to the Dominican Republic recently began its Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR) to Cibao International Airport in Santiago. The new flight is part of JetBlue’s strategy to strengthen its positioning as the leading airline serving the New York region and the Caribbean.
JetBlue has also begun flights from Fort Lauderdale International Airport (FLL) to Punta Cana International Airport in the eastern Dominican Republic.
“We now offer customers 69 nonstop routes from the US to the Caribbean and more than 200 daily flights to, from and within the Caribbean, which is more than any other airline. We will continue to expand our presence in this region to better connect families and friends, create international business opportunities and bring Americans to the wonderful leisure destinations across the Caribbean,” said JetBlue President Robin Hayes.
