The latest CID Latinoamericana poll published in today’s Hoy newspaper, Monday 2 June found that 52% of Dominicans are concerned about the cost of living and jobs, followed by crime. Overall, Dominicans are optimistic that the Medina administration is on the right track, with hope for improvements for all in the next 12 months. Four out of every five citizens give positive ratings to the administration.
Interestingly, three out of every five citizens said they have little or no interest in political affairs. On the other hand, crime stories have had the most impact on citizens.
