Police spokesman Jacobo Mateo Moquete announced that the urban merengue singer, Antonio Peter de la Rosa (Omega) was arrested yesterday morning, Monday 2 June.
A Santiago judge issued the warrant after the singer failed to comply with an obligation to make periodic court appearances as part of his bail terms.
He was arrested on 27 Febrero Avenue in Santo Domingo and sent to Rafey jail to complete a three-month remand sentence.
