Judge Margarita Cristo Cristo has agreed to withdraw her writ against the National District Prosecutor Yeni Berenice Reynoso if the latter apologizes for her comments regarding the Victor Diaz Rua case. Diaz Rua is a former Minister of Public Works during the Leonel Fernandez administration who is accused of corruption in office. Reynoso had accused Judge Cristo Cristo of asking to hear the case against Diaz Rua so that she could act in his favor.
