The Central Bank reports that the National Consumer Price Index was up 0.02% in May. The increase means inflation for the first five months of the year adds up to 1.55%, and annualized inflation (over the past 12 months) is at 3.7%, which is within the 4.5%+ 1% rage established in the Monetary Program for the year. Inflation this year is one percentage point below the same period last year when it was 4.99%.
