The hot humid summer is here. Thermal sensations will lead people to feel 36C temperatures, when the temperatures are around 32C, especially for residents of Punta Cana, where temperatures are usually among the hottest in the country in the summer. Punta Cana residents and visitors will need to rush to air conditioned spaces or the beach because of the hot temperatures. The Meteorological Office (Onamet) is forecasting scattered showers nationwide.
