The Courtyard Santo Domingo by Marriott is keeping up with the times. With the new Sheraton, Embassy Suites and JW Marriott all opening this year, the Maximo Gomez Avenue hotel has announced its recent RD$2.3 million investment to be at the forefront in Wi-Fi service to guests. The new platform includes 43 antennas installed throughout the building to ensure full Internet service (Dual-Band 5GHz/2.4GHz) to its guests in their rooms, event and public areas. The 35Mbps speed Internet service is included in the hotel or event rate, as a competitive advantage.
“With the installation of these antennas and the “Smart Wi-Fi Access Point” we expand the radius of Wi-Fi signal throughout the hotel,” stated marketing director Gianell Pena. “This innovative technology allows customers to stay connected from their devices during their whole stay providing that wonderful experience with the quality and style that Marriott International has to offer in the Dominican Republic,” she highlights. The new service will enable guests to conduct personal communications and professional work.
The Courtyard Santo Domingo has 143 rooms and is centrally located with easy access to the Juan Pablo Duarte Olympic Center, the National Theater and Plaza de la Cultura cultural center, the Colonial City.
