United Airlines has announced it is launching new flights to Punta Cana from its hub at Houston’s George Bush Intercontinental Airport.
The flights are scheduled to begin on 20 December with year-round service on Saturdays and service on Sundays during periods of expected higher demand.
United is the largest carrier in Houston, where it has its largest hub and its main gateway to Latin America. The airline also announced plans are underway at Bush Intercontinental Airport for a larger international terminal to accommodate new carriers and additional international flights.
