According to Central Bank statistics, the average mortgage-lending rate is now at 10.79%. The average lending rate for preferential loans is 10.47%, with the lowest loans at 8.51% and highs at 12.23% for the period of 1 to 26 June 2014.
This is lower than rates in May, when the average was 10.73%. It is also lower than in June of 2013 (10.69%) and June 2012 (11.84%), as reported in Listin Diario.
