With the remodeling of its restaurant and Ocean World Terrace as a nightspot for locals and tourists alike, the country’s largest water park, located on the north coast near Puerto Plata is announcing a program of expansions in time for the opening of the Carnival Cruise terminal Amber Cove in 2015. The new port will be located to the west of Ocean World. Ocean World is promoting its summer vacation packages for local schoolchildren, with attractive pricing on their most popular attractions, including the dolphin, sea lion and shark shows, the water slides, aquatic ball playground, snorkeling with fish, and the tiger and bird areas. Children under the age of six have free admission to the dolphin programs. Ocean World Adventure Park promotes itself as a 24-hour entertainment park.
