Free zone industry promoter Luis Manuel Pellerano died yesterday of a heart attack in Santo Domingo. He had served as president of the Dominican Free Zones Association (Adozona) and board member of several other development organizations. He was president-founder of the Las Americas Free Zone. At the time of his death he was a member of the board of directors of the National Council of Free Zones (CNZFE) and vice president of the World Free Zones Organization (WFZO).
