The Central Bank reports that accumulated inflation so far this year is 2.33%, less than the 3.07% for the same time last year. The Consumer Price Index increased 0.39% in August 2014 compared to July 2014.
Annualized inflation, from August 2013 to August 2014 was 3.13%, which is two points lower than inflation in August 2013, when the rate was 5.30%.
The Central Bank says that the results are favorable indicators for the fulfillment of the 4.5%? 1% forecast for year’s end.
