A nurse who treated a patient repatriated to Madrid from Sierra Leone has tested positive for Ebola, new reports revealed yesterday, Monday 6 October 2014. The nurse is thought to be the first person to have contracted the virus outside West Africa.
There are several direct flights a day from Madrid to the Dominican Republic.
