Ocean World has announced the temporary shutdown of its casino following the termination of the administration agreement that was previously arranged with Integrity Gaming Dominicana IGD, S.R.L. This termination occurred after an arbitration tribunal ordered it in response to a legal claim made by Ocean World, S.A. and also ordered Integrity Gaming Dominicana IGD, S.R.L. to pay over RD$40 million in favor of Ocean World, S.A. for the outstanding rent and services fees.
Ocean World explains that the temporary closure of Ocean World Casino will not affect the other amenities available at Ocean World, including the night entertainment facilities like the restaurant, the Bravissimo show and the Ocean World Terrace.
