This is an opportunity to see a selection of outstanding German films. DGCine and the Embassy of Germany are sponsoring a film festival to mark the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall. The festival ends on 9 November at the Plaza de la Cultura Cinemateca Dominicana, behind the Museum of History and Geography in Santo Domingo’s Plaza de la Cultura. The films will be screened at 7:30pm on weekdays and at 5:30pm and 7:30 on the weekend. The program includes contemporary and historic films that give a vision of life before, during and after the unification of Germany.
