Nueterra Global Alliance (NGA) has announced that Hospital General de la Plaza de la Salud (HGPS) is now part of its global health network, which mainly consists of specialty healthcare facilities and tertiary service providers, all working to facilitate domestic and international medical exchange. The hospital network seeks to help Dominicans traveling abroad for services in the United States and US travelers seeking care abroad.
Hospital General de la Plaza de la Salud is the largest hospital in the Dominican Republic. While it is government funded, it is privately run.
