The new challenge for the next 25 years is to work on aligning European aid with the Dominican Republic’s National Development Strategy, according to the European Union.
The statement by European Union representatives was made during a presentation of research on 25 years of European Union cooperation with the Dominican Republic at the UASD’s Pedro Mir Library in Santo Domingo. The research was carried out by the Global Foundation for Democracy and Development (Funglode), the think tank presided by former President Leonel Fernandez.
