The Ministry of Public Works has announced that the stretch of the Malecon (Av. George Washington) between Alma Mater and Maximo Gomez avenues in Santo Domingo will be closed to traffic on Friday and Saturday (5-6 December 2014) from 10pm to 6am. The city waterworks agency (CAASD) is making improvements to the city’s drainage system.
