The Court of Appeals has confirmed the decision that annuls the investigation into corruption by former Minister of Public Works Victor Diaz Rua. The decision was adopted by judges Eduardo Sanchez Ortiz, Doris Pujols Ortiz, Antonio Sanchez Mejia and Mariana Daneira Garcia. The court turned down an appeal by prosecutor Yeni Berenice Reynoso and the Fundacion Primero Justicia on a decision that was enacted on 29 August 2014. The case was closed and filed prior to the hearing of the accusations taking place, as reported in Diario Libre.
