San Jose de Ocoa agri-tourism and mountain attractions are joining Constanza and Jarabacoa in a three-for-one regional destination initiative. The National Competitiveness Council, the Inter-American Development Bank and the San Jose de Ocoa EcoTourism Cluster will be working together to market the three destinations located in the Dominican Republic’s central mountain area.
The IDB will be funding Diversifying the Tourism Offer in the Mountains Project to add farm attractions in the province of San Jose de Ocoa to those of Jarabacoa and Constanza in La Vega province.
San Jose de Ocoa Ecotourism Fund executive director Rafael Read, Constanza Ecotourism Cluster president Rafael Collado Abreu, and Jarabacoa Ecotourism Cluster president Amos Martinez will be working together to develop and promote the mountain destinations.
